Nothing Pat Robertson says surprises me anymore, but really, he's never heard of mac and cheese?

What do you guys think of the black reporters response too? Pretty impressive to cover for his comments that fast.

oh my god he said black people, how was that lady not like super offended? that guy should get fired, how could he be so racist. white people arent supposed to realize differences between black and white cultures, especially not supposed to point them out. so ignorant, what a racist fuck.

the one thing that irritates me more than anything is sensationalizing racism. I must preface this by saying i agree that racism exists. Now my argument for this video. First when the female reporter is talking to rice and she claims "mac and cheese" the reporter says "thats my dish sister" implying that it is a race thing. Now under that inference pat asks is it a black thing to eat mac and cheese on thanksgiving? obviously because he has never heard of such a thing personally and said inference by the reporter. how can it be racist. he is merely asking for confirmation that it is a culture difference. The more we sensationalize false/inconclusive racial comments the more prevalent racism seems to be. I dont see it in my everyday life nor do i feel that it exists as much as the media will lead you to believe. I also have an issue with black on white racism and how it is played down. if the tables were turned and rice was white and so was the reporter and they were talking about (any traditional "white" food) and the host of the show was black and said "is that a white thing?" you would NEVEREVER here about it EVER!!!! (i dont think the comment was racist just that the fact that they wouldnt say anything proves that sensationalism exists)

Lol wut?

I thought popeye's was a black thing. When did mac and cheese become black? I've been reppin mac and cheese since I was a baby. I'm the osiris of that shit. Mac n cheese was here for ever, mother fuckers.

I thought mac and cheese was a canadian thing?

actually this inspired me to fire up a pot of KD right now.

Woman arrested in vampire style attack in CO. I wanna see that... And its not that he hasnt heard about it, its probably that he doesn't eat it at thanksgiving

haaa, that's just an old guy being an old guy. no harm done, he just didn't word it like people these days expect things to be worded. "is there some sort of cultural significance to this delicacy?" maybe that would have been better.

lol, i cant believe ppl are freaking out over this. ppl these days are under the impression that its racist just to realize that someone may be a bit different than yourself

I was mostly surprised that he had apparently never heard of mac and cheese...

I don't think what he said was necessarily racist, but I think the way he said it is indicative of the way he thinks about other races.
