Is there anything i can do on the tramp to better simulate skiing?

im pretty new to the tramp game and i was wondering ..is there anything you do on the tramp to better simulate skiing? perhaps getting high before aniciating the manuver?
 
if you always make trick from your back and land on your back it will help with help. idk if it really help but tanner halls only do that crap
 
no its not because hes training for pipe, that actually has nothing to do with it. Working on technical bed tricks like that bouncing from back, stomach, and seat drops can really help with air awareness. Air awareness is probably the most important thing to work on for skiing, as it helps everything that you do. So try to do a lot of stuff like flips out of back, seat, or front drops, cradles(back drop-180-back drop), and turntables(stomach-spin-stomach) and it should be able to improve your jumping in general weather it be on a tramp or skis.
 
yeah. the skis absorb all of your bounce. Just try some spinning and flipping (Lincolns, back 1's, back 3's) and try to start and land in the very center of the tramp for all of your tricks.
 
put weights on your feet ~equal to the weight of your boots and skis. that's the only non-stupid thing to do to make it more like skiing
 
you could quit wastin time playin gymanists and hike to snow to ski
