woulda shoulda coulda....you cant sit around and revel over what might have or not have happened. the point is we liberated iraq and now we have to deal with the consequences of our actions. some are good and some are bad, but it does nothing for either side to say bush should have done this or that instead. i honestly feel sorry for bush because of all of the heat he is taking. he did what he had to do. he was next in line and he had to act. if you think other presidents or official would have not acted then you are most likely wrong in my opinion. i went and looked up some documented quotes, which may or may not help your stance and the war and its aftermath.
'One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missles to deliver them. That is our bottom line.'-President Clinton Feb 4th, 1998
'If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our promise is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program.'-President Clinton, Feb 17th 1998
'Iraq is a long way from The USA, but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical, biological weapons against us and our allies is the greatest security threat we face.'-Madeline Albright, Feb 18th 1998
'He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983.'-Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Advisor Feb 18, 1998
'We urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the US Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missle strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs.'-Letter to President Clinton signed by Sens. Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry and others Oct 9th, 1998
.....do you want more quotes? you see i could care less as to what you believe, but try to make decisions based on what you know or dont know. its hard when emotion gets in the way, but you ahve to put that aside in order to see the light. thoughts? (I know JD MAY...I'm a stupid retard fag, but just spare me again please)
Oh, please do lower your speech to my humble level, oh great and intellectual one, for I am unworthy to bear witness to the truths you speak! Since I am clearly your inferior, you must write in very lowbrow terms or I'll never understand. --JD May
