Is there a way for the site to alert me to new content from a creator I like??

hey pretty fresh here on NS . Was just thinking is there a way to see all content from someone and have the site notify me when something from them new is up? I guess sorta like subscribing on youtube ??
 
You can subscribe to accounts, go to someones account you want to subscribe to and click videos. On the video page, top right of the page you will see a subscribe button.

Are you looking for all types of media including forums?

Heath pointed out how to do it with videos (though we need to make that easier) - but we've been considering adding it for other items as well. Just didn't want to go too crazy with notifications when we added them.
 
Yea I was just meaning video , photo and maybe articles . I do understand not wanting a million notifications on everything someone does . I don't need to know when someone comments on something or likes something. Yea I think it would be sweet if it was a bit easier to subscribe or follow someone just so that person can get some props for there work. Cheers guys for the help

We're just about to start the process of totally re-working the alerts system. Right now its pretty simple, and only sends a few types of alerts to not overwhelm.

The idea is we're going to make a ton of different types of alerts available, and you can choose what you want from them.
