Is There A Dress Code For Being A "Park" Person?

A park rat at my local mountain was on the chair sitting next to me and started ranting on about how I couldn't wear "colourful" clothing from top and bottom. He stated that you MUST only wear "colourful" pants and a dark jacket, or dark pants and a "colourfull" jacket. So my question is, was he correct in someway? Like is it the way to dress like a park person or what? OR can't I just wear whatever I want?

Jesus man...

Did you really break chapter 4 section 8 rule 34 in the newschoolers handbook?

Such an infraction will result in a 2 year ban from freesking sorry.

wear whatever you think looks ill, if you feel good in what you're wearing then fuck what some gaper thinks

In another post everone refered to gapers as those in colorful clothing from top to bottom so seems most of NS feels the same way.. Wear what you want.

more like shea flynn with my beard and taller stature. That's the physical difference between northern vermonters and backwoods maniahs.

If you really have to ask this, op, you should stop skiing immediately and lock yourself in your bedroom for the rest of your life to shield humanity from your stupidity

One must have a minimum of 2 jiberish/Saga/First Drop items at all times or else you cant hit anything. Its been in the rule book for a long time now.

Nobody fucking cares about what you wear if your good. I could look gaper as fuck but as soon as I throw down, people know your not a gaper. I think gaper is your skiing ability not what your wearing

The is no way you have to dress, but style wise, I agree with the dude you were talking to. Its not 2008 anymore, people don't wear matching suits or full bags of skittles. Bright jackets and pants are still cool, but by only wearing one you don't look too flamboyant.

But if you like the way you look, keep wearing what you're wearing.

i really dont see anyone with tall tees anymore. large coats is the norm.

now alot of guys don't wear helmets and have snapbacks w/sunglasses and balaclava w/hoodie.

Like everyone is saying as long as YOU are satisfied with your setup its fine. Who cares what others think. If you are dressing a certain way to impress others then there is a problem.

Yes, look like that, or simply don't approach the park.

The core-hardcore-og-hood park rats will mug you, when they see a guy lookin' like a faggot. Oh and you might wanna carry a gun, under the 7xl tall tee, just for safety. Better safe than sorry.

The guy on the left (Martini) quit skiing for filming, as he realized with such a short jacket he'll be an easy target.

whoever gives the least amount of fucks on the ski hill wins

if you can be happy skiing all day wearing a teletubby costume then you are untouchable and everyone should envy that

not in this little kids defense at all because worrying about gear is fucking lame butttt..

it is kinda weird when someone is absolutely tossing but is dressed like a total geech

He is correct in the aspect that the current style has changed to what said "park rat" has stated. But skiing is about doing whatever the fuck you want. That's why it's called FREEskiing.
