Is the word "steez" played out?

Like 3 years ago I used to unironically comment "steez" under all my favourite skiiers on insta, but now it seems like the Jerry's word of choice and I cringe every time I read it. Commonly found on ski tiktok and those shitty generic ski compilation pages (@skiingedge is a particularly bad one) on instagram. Verdict?
 
I mainly use tiktok to observe big booty bitches, but the snowsports side of that app is genuinely awful. On the level of r/skiing I dare say

The mtb side and skiing are both equally awful and embarrassing
 
Kirkwood just opened their park this last week and posted "Come get your steeze on" on their insta story.

I love the wood, but when Vail resorts is using it, it sounds cringe
