Is the Tyrolia Peak 12 binding strong enough?

I weigh 161 lbs, 181cm tall and I am mounting them on Moment Nighttrain 186cm.

My 08 Line Invaders are mounted up with Marker Jesters and cranked up to Din 9 atm.

Will the Tyrolia Peak 12 binding be stong enough for my ride on the nighttrain?

Obviously the Nighttrain will be used for what it is designed for. ie pow/bc day.

I am doing a whole season in Morzine, France for 20 weeks so hopefully i will progress a bit and i am worried that the Peak 12 will be maxed out at the start?

Thanks!

i used to ride peak 18s for a bit (i'm 6'2 170lbs) and they constanly released until they broke (about 2 months into my riding experience) I would not recomend any tyrolia bindings or these bindings branded in any different way.

Yep, and so do countless other pros. A solid binding indeed, but there are always a few outliers with ski gear.

^ so would you recommend them? I am asking as I have never skied with Tyrolia. Do you think the 12 Din is not enough? I think its boarderline.

Thanks for the reply.

I would recommend Peak 15's and 18's but not 12's. If your riding your park skis at 9 you will most likely want your pow skis cranked up a little more. You should look into a 14/15 DIN binding at least. You would most likely break the 12's if you ride somewhat hard.

^ Yeah this is what i am concearned about. I think to make the binding a bit more future proof i need to look at 14/15 DIN, think 18DIN is over kill.
