Is the nixon d3100 a good camera?

So I was looking at the nixon d3100 and saw that its pretty cheap. But I was wondering if it is good for filming skiing?

Since you apparently only want it for filming, you want a camcorder. DSLR's will make you look cooler, but your edits will be just as good if not better with a equivalently valued camcorder.

Used the D3100 for a day and got some test video shots, pm me if you want them.

it feels kinda limited filming, dont really know how to describe it.

honestly unless your getting it for dirt cheap, it might be better to just get a t2i.

I picked one up today in great condition for $340 with an 18-55mm IS lens. There pretty fucking cheap for what they can do

it'd be much much better yet to get a gh13

i bet most of ns doesn't even know what that is, so sad

I have one, and I really like it a lot. I take a lot of pictures too.

Almost every shot in this edit is on the D3100, check it out

It would probably do everything by barely gesturing to what it might be, like there is a menu button, but you just have to remember which one, as none of them are labeled.

But it would be a beautiful camera nonetheless.
