Is the current state of whistlers snow of major concern?

I was a bit surprised to see how abysmall the snowpack was given how well everyone in the interior is doing. But it has been a pretty mild Nov and that has a bigger impact on the coast for snow vs rain especially in Nov. Revy already has a 1m alpine base.

Supposed to snow about 20 cents this week and they haven't canceled opening on Thursday so I'm thinking rock skis+jibs ...profit??

Haha classic vail have to be open for all the US ppl coming up for labour day weekend to pay $100+ a day to ski straight rocks and ice

Same in Utah man, I'm concerned for the future of skiing for sure, it snowed here super early October and haven't seen anything significant since even through it's mid Nov. I've been noticing a pattern in the past 15 years here of a later start of the season Ie: Jan-May vs. October-April. We not get most of our snowfall March-April now where it used to bring straight spring warm conditions after Oct-Jan snowfalls 2003-2012.

I feel like lots of rich tourists don't all come to whistler for the skiing. For many it's a good place to party. At least they will set up some jibs for us Tall Ts

Don’t think it’s a huge deal, not being able to get my backyard tubes set up is kind of annoying tho
