I was there on the 6th and there was not any snow at all.

there is still about 3-5 feet above high camp, but they wont le you load the cable car with ski gear since there is no patrol and it is private property... if you wanna ski something good in tahoe right now go to kirkwood and take a two hour hike to the top of the cirque 2000 feet of good snow there still... not for the noobs though
