every skier that wears trackpants lands like this. why r we acting like this is a desirable skill lmaoooo

I respect that Jon is a pioneer and really enjoyed watching him in his prime when I was growing up, but what Oscar is wearing is irrelevant, he's a dope skier whose only getting a lot better, that edit is from 2017

NS gets so salty when people enjoy things haha

Some of the older crowd will agree with me on this...Growing up watching Jon ski had a similar influence as Oscar may have now - super smooth landings while doing tricks that most others couldn't. He was always one step ahead of the pack.

Giving credit to both these dudes for pushing skiing forward during their respective times.

100% true.

Jon was REALLLLY smooth. He had a very strong racing background and you could see it in how technical he was.

Jon actually won a big mountain contest in Sweden. He also had some nice big mountain segments, although he was certainly not (from what I saw and from his results) as good of a big mountain skier as Henrik Windstedt. Jon was a spectacular all-around skier. He did a whole lot for skiing. I know this is cliche, but he was one of those guys who could actually do everything on a pair of skis.

I don't know whether Oscar lands better than Jon did or not. Most of you guys are probably better judges of park landings than I am, so I will defer to you.

yes. jon has some of the smoothest landings on very hard tricks and remember.. this was years ago as well. He is a perfectionist when it comes to things.

Most of the nopoles clips in this vid are pretty ragged. If your gonna window wash with your hands all over the place without poles, then maybe usIng poles Is they way to go.
