Is ohio one of the greatest places to grow up for skiing?

I think its at least top 3, with colarado and utah ahead and everything else falling short. Austria is a good one too.

I heard all the chemicals in the water in the air combined with the heat from the rivers catching on fire leads to some sick snowfall and deep days

Ohio doesn’t even have winter we just are in the middle of everything. No good temps. Not a lot of snowfall and short asf

If you're looking for your next ski trip in Ohio, you're in luck! At Vail Resorts, our property diversification helps to allow a portion of our resorts to stay open even as conditions change in a changing climate. Such a diversification into smaller hills allows for our system to develop more natural progression. Learning can be a great experience at one of our smaller hills and then going full force to your hearts content at one of our bigger resorts either in New England or in the West can ensure the greatest experience possible. Currently in Ohio, you can come visit us at Alpine Valley, Boston Mills, Brandywine and Mad River! Just make sure that you've either purchased an Epic Pass, Epic Day Pass or other pass options online to save from having to pay the window rate. Hope we'll be seeing you soon on your next great Ohio trip.

If you ever come to Boston mills or brandywine I feel so sorry for you. It’s ridiculously shit.

5 min chairlift ride. 20 seconds to slide. Max speed 30mph. If you aren't doing park, and if you aren't a child learning to ski, then Ohio sled riding hills are worse than nothing. Agonizingly boring is more like it.

That’s crazy because other than a few prodigies almost every great skier grew up riding the east

I say it all the time but Vermont owns this sport, and snowboarding as well
