Is My Computer Being Controlled?

I feel like something has posessed my computer. periodically my mouse drifts from side to side across the screen without me touching it, or safari will ask me if I'm sure i want to quit, then it will quite.

why could this be? has this hapened to any of you?

Yes. Do you have a wireless mouse for the comp you are using? Do you have another computer in your house that has a wireless mouse (it could even be on a different level of the house)? If you answered yes to both questions click the restart button on either of the mice a few times to change its channel because somebody else could be controlling your mouse without you even knowing it...

well my first thought was that my little bro was using some ipod touch app to do it, but i looked at his ipod and theres nothing on it that would do that. i also googled it with no results. its weird.

There could be a crumb on the bottom of your mouse that's making the laser bounce weird. OR, if its a touch pad there could be dust on it.
