Is Jiberish really that great?

or is it just over priced and well marketed?

i mean, they have cool clothes and all, and I like the brand, but is it really worthy of all the praise i keep hearing?

I've personally tried on a lot of jiberish hoodies. I was pretty skeptical of the praise too. But their shit is legit, great attention to detail. Their sizing is a bit whack though... XL fits me like a medium.

yes. THE BEST material, so comfy, so well fitted, amazing attention to detail. It has become a trendwhore brand, but ive bought at least 2 pieces from every winter line since it dropped in 06 (or was it 05?). i have sold and passed on a lot, simply because i had so many new ones to wear. this years line is unreal.

they are super nice i livve in denver and they didnt have any of the hoodie i wanted so they sent me to the warehouse were i met what i think was the owner his name was like pete he was mad chill

not really overpriced... some hoodies are like 69 dollar or somthing? and some are like 80. streetwear/skateboard clothing stores hoodies are around 90-100, well where i live they are.

you answered your own question. That, and how classy they market their website. Jiberish is a very smart operation.

Could someone explain to me how Jiberish is overpriced? $80 for a hoodie is about how much I would pay for a hoodie from Quicksilver, Billabong, Nike, etc. And $86 really isn't that expensive for a pair of jeans, when many pairs cost over $100. I'm not sure about crewnecks though, since I rarely wear them anyways, but I will say their t-shirts are pretty expensive... $36 for a tee is pretty high when I can get a tee of similar quality for $15.

From where though? TJ Maxx? Of course you can find great deals when this stuff is on sale, but retail, it's gonna be similar to Jiberish...

i think jiberish is bad, but why did skiers start to wear lrg? gayest thing ever. also i have never paid more than $50 for a hoodie. most starting prices on hoodies are about $60 then the prices drop. jiberishs do not. also $86 is super expensive for a pair of jeans

EXACTLY. what marketing? WE are the market. Us (stands for us or United states take your pick) NS. the market is what we make of it. Too expensive for the value? maybe i can wait a day until i get it. maybe the price will be lower. do i need it NOW? NO. you dont. you can wait and it will be available for its TRU VALUE. we set the value. WE set the price. how bad do you want an ipad right now? screw apple. i have an old ipod that works just fine. i realized that apple controls the world when i realized that I control apple. but so do you. so do you.

Abercrombie charges $150 for a pair of ripped jeans. And their quality still isn't as good. At least i don't think.

I dont have jiberish, but its not overpriced. You pay for the style, the quality and its rare. If you dont want to pay 35$ for a t-shirt, its ookay, but if you compare jiberish too skate compagny like wesc, diamond, lifetime, the price is right. I pay 45$ for a wesc t-shirt here in montreal and the only reason why indont buy jiberish is the shipping.

A little off-topic, but since you sound interested in Jiberish but are put off by the shipping prices, D-Structure is based out of Quebec and stock Jiberish. They don't stock everything (I don't think they're stocking the Spring Line) but they do have a pretty good selection.

Jiberish clothing is really quality, but the main reason it is so successful is because it is an extremely well run business. Drago really knows how to build up anticipation for a drop, and produce just enough clothing to make money, while still making the product feel special, because it is very limited.

I think that just because other brands are more expensive, it doesn't mean that Jiberish isn't still ridiculous. I've gotten two things from them so far, a 5xl bozz and a 5xl Academy, and they have both been flawed. And it's also kinda silly to pay 100+ dollars, in my opinion, for something that isn't even pre-shrunk. That being said, I have never heard anything bad said about the windbreakers/ignants or things that aren't cotton, and they both seem like quite a good price, especially in comparison to the hoodies/tee's

^ I ordered an ignant and it came with a hole in it. But they got me a new one but I still see it as poor quality. The crewnecks are nicee though
