I have a 24" mac (last years version) and i was wondering if i could hook it up to my computer and have live on it and sound and stuff. Is it possible? I googled it and all this weird shit came up, all i want is a straight yes or no.

are you talking about a monitor? If it's anything like a normal monitor it'll have a VGA port and you can buy 360 VGA cables

BULLSHIT.i haev my box live thru my mac.look it up on google.u just have to change the Ip adresses and that BS.walks u right thru.

hmm...

I do it with my PC where my 360 is playing off my 22 inch monitor but that is with the VGA cable...unfortunately with apple's cool and hip attitude they do not run the same VGA connection that PC does. so here is my solution it will take some research

For your mac, you have a cable that runs from the monitor to the tower, you'd need to find a cord that will connect to the xbox VGA cord then meet with your cord that runs to your monitor, I highly doubt they make something like that seeing as Microsoft is enemies with apple.

This is a VGA connection for a regular monitor/hd tv that xbox uses

you'd need something to connect your mac monitor to that.

I would just go to the apple store and ask somebody, I'm sure they've gotten that question before multiple times.
Or call the apple customer service line, even easier. At least then you'll know for sure you got a correct answer. (no offense to everybody, but that seems the most official way to find out)

yeah you can hook up your box to a mac monitor, as long as it has audio/visual hook ups, but for live you have to make sure the internet cord hooked in the back of your xbox is connected to your computer on the other end

wait so you can do this even if it's not a mac monitor? cause 'm just rocking the average mac where the monitor is everything..

aite sweet 50 bucks isnt bad. what's the little icon for the plug in look like? just to make sure i have one.
