some say yes but even if you are falling up stairs you arn't really because ur head is going from a higher position to a lower position , the only exception i can think of is if u fall while in an elevator? what do you think ?

only cases i can think of are if you're standing on your head or if you're running up some stairs or uphill and you fall with some momentum (i.e. you trip at a full sprint up a hill and you fall "up" i guess)

Well falling is a description of moving with the force of gravity, and up is a description of moving against gravity...so i don't think you can fall up.

if you catch an edge on the lip of a kicker, you would fall and still be traveling in an outward/upward direction

if you fell out of a spaceshuttle, you would be falling in every direction at once hahaha

I think more importantly, the question should be

"Can you fall in space?"

since your negating gravity and all (notice there IS gravity in space for those who have not taken physics) and im talking like in a space station or like on a shuttle.

im curious

is that debatable? i would imagine its not possible.

If you're doing a headstand on a stair with your face looking down the stairs, and you fall forwards, like a frontflip motion. Wouldn't that be falling up? since your going up the stairs somewhat.
