If you didn't know Bob Marley's greatest hit album Legend was just remixed.Stream it here ------> http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/bob-marley-and-the-wailers-get-edm-spin-on-legend-remixed-album-premiere-20130611

I personally think that you cannot beat the originals from Bob Marley you just can't, and a few of these tracks are just ok IMO. However from my first listen I must say RAC's remix of "Could you be Loved" is on point and keeps true the original vibes. Other noteworthy stand outs are the dnb remix of "I Shot the Sheriff" It does take away from the chill Marley vibes but it sounds so sick. Also the "Three Little Birds" remix is pretty good. It is my first go through of the album so there may be other good ones.

Anyways opinions on remixing Marley and these remixes in particular?

Digging the Three Little Birds one. Undecided on the whole remixing Marley thing though. At least people close to Marley directed it...

You may not be able to beat the originals, but remixing them is totally ok. These are just these electronic artists' renditions of the songs. They're new songs so you have to take them for what they are. Remixing a song a way of complimenting the original artist's work.

I mean, what's the difference between these remixes and a reggae band playing the songs with their own style to it? It's not like that's never happened before.

Thanks for the share as well!
