is it my fault that I destroyed the base of my skis due to shitty park maintainence and their box with a giant screw sticking out. I was hitting it all day and there was no screw.
 
your park probably has a sign at the top of it that says inspect all features carefully before hitting and some other liability shit so yes technically its probably your fault.
 
It is your fault because you failed to check out the features before hitting them. Blaming the park crew for damage to your ski is like blaming the mountain if you hit a rock. There are certain risks you take for everything you do, and if you're going to point a finger direct it toward yourself.
 
it sucks, but bottom line is, if everyone sues their hill every time they fuck u gear in the park, there wont be any more parks.
 
how is that not your fault? there is such a thing as a stupid question, and that was a perfect example.
 
its my fault. sorry, i was mad at you and i thought of a good way to get back at you so i put a screw there
