Is it looked down upon to send tricks and fall every time?

Im trying to consistently land 180s and I’m falling basically every time. Do people get frustrated because it temporarily closes the feature? I don’t care if people find it funny that I’m falling I just want to make sure I’m not ruining the park atmosphere.

The whole part of learning is failing keep at it. I used to be embarrassed when I started but if you have a friend with you makes it more relaxed

No, I like to see people progressing. And the better skiers like showing off for the newbies so you’re an essential part of the park atmosphere anyways.

send it. The park would be a pretty boring place if nobody ever pushed themselves out of their comfort zone no?

The biggest thing to consider is this... Fuck 'em even if they are frustrated! It's not their park and you're practicing

Naw if you tryin to learn I’ll be stoked.

if you snake the whole run to sidehit a rail and then do wide s turns down the jump landing, then I’d be pissed

I feel like if i don’t fall or fail sometimes, i don’t push myself enough. Just try to figure out what went wrong and progress. I don’t look down on falling at all, it’s a natural progression and everyone takes a tumble.

I rode park for like 10 years straight never had a single negative thought about someone else crashing. Only thing

you might consider is like skiing out to where people can see you after you bail. It’s a weird feeling to see someone hit a jump and you are pretty sure they fell based on how they were in the air but then you just never see them again. And like several minutes pass so you’re like, we’ll surely they are still just camped in the landing getting their shit together right? And then someone’s gotta just go for it and hope for the best. Idk

I feel this. Coming from skating during the summer it feels like the success/failure ratio in skiing is much higher, at least at my park. Like at skateparks literally you continue to fall until you get the trick right, whereas I see park kids doing crazy shit and managing to land it almost every time.

No because you provide entertainment for those on the lifts. Next time dislocate your shoulder, those are the best to watch.

LOL how have mods not banned your retard ass yet. I love trolls but you're just braindead bro.

Dude for sure, keep working on what you’re working on. Don’t let anyone give you shot about it.

As a side note, if you are falling every time on a 180, there might be some underlying skills to be worked on first. Post a clip and let’s see if we can help you stomp them consistently

Thanks for the encouragement bro, I appreciate it. Referring to your side note, I think my problem is with my pop and staggered landing. I'm somewhat nosebuttering off the lip, instead of gaining air first then turning, if that makes sense. Primarily, my landings are too wacky and unconfident. I am decent at riding fakie but landing then gaining speed downwards is much more difficult. I'll make sure to post a clip next time.

Man I troll too but like this is just kinda pathetic tbh Lmfao. You're not even a good troll, don't you work in customer service? I'm pretty sure your life just sucks, cause you work braindead, beta ass job. And you take out your pent up rage on a fucking 20 year old forum while you masterbait to the thought of going back in time to the glory days "when newschoolers was good" even though it was just filled with learning disabled 12 year olds back then, with a couple hundred more users.

Go listen to some smashing pumpkins, Pathetic desk jockey.

You remind me of the thin-skinned pussies who get offended when a comedian makes a joke that hits home and instead of taking it like a big boy, you write stupid shit like, "I have a GREAT sense of humor, I know comedy but like this was just offensive and NOT funny at all!"

Yeah kid, keep on writing incomplete sentences filled with outdated references, grammatical errors and 4chan abbreviations. It doesn't make you look idiotic at all... LMFAO LULZ TBH SMASHING PUMPKINS! LOLOLZ IRL JKJK! LOL!

Here is the thing about falling on a jump. When you get up, ski to an area visible to the guys at the staging area and give them a little wave. There is nothing worse than standing on top of a jump and being like 65% sure its clear but still not sure because the guy that crashed just kind of ninja'd away.
