Is it just me, or is everyone at the RNC in St. Paul white...

I have not seen a single person of ethnic origin in the last hour or so that i've watched this...

The Democratic convention had tons of different cultures in abundant numbers.. african americans, latinos, asians, and from all ages.. 20 year olds to 90 year olds.

Meanwhile, everyone at the RNC seems to be A) white B) Old C) if not old, a skinhead...

Its sorta creepy, thats all i'm saying.

I looked up from the computer for like 30 seconds and saw a Jew giving a speech (Lieberman) and a young black woman and a middle aged hispanic man listening. So, yeah, it's just you.

no way, i just saw, a black man, a white man, and a latino man, ALL IN ONE SCREEN SHOT! ZOMG!

but im sure that is just fox pulling the wool over my eyes....

Lol.

Oh, the same lieberman who was on GORE's ticket? and who tried again as pres in 2004 as a democrat?

besides hes white too.

hey me and my father were watching it and that is exactly what we thought, the only blacks were the security and the ones serving hotdogs

I'm sure the point of this thread was not to see if you could find one or 2 people of ethnicity in the crowd or even 10. I think the point is it shows you how out of touch the GOP is with the rest of the country when in a crowd of thousands you would be lucky to find 10% that aren't white. I'm not sure where you live but that crowd certainly doesn't represent the world that I live in.

exactly the point.

I know that the twin cities area is not that ethnically "un-diverse".. so its not on part of the area where the convention is heald..

Its merely because the only ones that wanted to go, or those who were chosen to go are for the most part.. white.. and old..

I just dislike how the DNC could be so ethnically diverse (and be generally younger, and healthier looking) whereas those attending the Republican convention gennerally all look like my 90 year old grandparents...

I've been to Minneapolis...

Saw a lot of everything there...

Mostly black and white, like most midwest metropolises... and by no means was it San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York City when it came to diversity... but it wasnt 99% caucasian by any means.
