I’ve filmed some skating on one from my video arts class and the shots look cool. However it uses tapes which suck imo. The hassle it takes to get the footage off is just annoying especially because I didn’t have the all things I needed so had to buy some stuff. If you got the setup to take the footage off already it would probably be a lot easier.

Unless u can set it up tapeless imo it’s a waste of time. Which u can but finding a tapeless converting is impossible rn and might cost more than the cam if u get one for resale.

If you're prepared to deal with tapes then it's a great camera imo. I love my gl2
