So recently i have figured out how to crochet hats.
My buddy thinks that im a fag cuz i crochet.
We are in a huge argument over this.
he said if 10 people think crocheting is cool then he would learn how.
Also how many people wear crocheted hats when skiing?
How many of you want to learn or know how to Crochet?

i tried making them when ns had a massive crocheting phase. i tired and made a couple hats, but gave up after that.
 
my friend is crotching hats as a fundraiser...in the past two weeks he has sold over 60 hats for 10 bucks a pop...with 50% going to the track team
 
your friends a fag is what it sounds like to me. ive been makin and sellin hats for me and friends (and some people i dont know even). after hearing it repeatedly from my brother callin me gay for doing it he now wants to cuz know skier wears store bought hats. crocheting is the shit and dont let anyone else tell you differntly. its one of the few oppurtunities you have to make something truley unique and one of a kind. fuck your friends that call you a fag cuz crocheting is definately cool.

i just finished my first hat 2day... yeah its cool. try to make some xtra dough and hell your not paying 30 bucks for a beanie anymore
 
crocheting is sick. it supported the end of my journey around new zealand last year cause i sold them to fellow travelers. i think i have hats in about 10 countries worldwide now. definitely learn to do it, its fun, its relaxing and you never have to buy winter hats again.
 
i think its sick, though i think it kind of went out of style over the summer, i have a feeling we will be throbbin over a new time passer when we are not skiing this winter.
 
I know how to crochet and couldnt give a fuck whether or not someone thinks its cool. Do what you want and stop doing it for someone else.
 
Wow, your friend is getting owned in this thread.But yeah, crocheting is dope as a rope. I've made a bunch of hats, everyone compliments them and doesn't believe I made them.
 
half tempted to bring a unfinished hat to school and work on it. i live in north idaho i might get the shit kicked out of me
 
Its cool in my book because thats how i get most of my hats. there is a snowboard chick on our mountain who will make you a hat with any colors you want overnight for 20 bucks..... badass way to get some rasta hats
 
i just finished my first hat. im gonna make a few more to get solid with it. then ill sell them with a 10mm needle and a 8mm. any color, you choose. so heads up on that in the future
 
i learned to crochet from a bunch of old ladies at a coffee house
it was called "stich and bitch"
now im good at it... but i would never do that again
 
Times like this, I wish I had gbalkman's talent. I have this great visual in my head of a bunch of guys wearing tall t's, bandanas and baggies sitting around crocheting. It's awesome that so many NSers crotchet, but the visual is making me lawl!!!
 
haha its so true about how people thnk its gay till you make a sick hat then they want one. i just like making things and having something i can show for all my hard work. i've made some sick hats in my day for sure.
