Is blading worth it?

Ok so two years ago I kind of got into blading (I call it blading, please don't hate) but it faded out for me I guess and now I'm thinking of getting into it after this ski season. Will it benefit me for skiing? Positive and/or negative feedback would be appreciated. I have these just for starters:

Are these good for starting out?
Thanks

Your karma has just increased, sir.
Seriously though, do you have fun blading? If so then its worth it. You ski to have fun, you blade to have fun.... Seems like it works to me.

Last summer I put on blades for the first time in years. Tried a 180, fell over. Then I tried to jump off a curb, which is easy, and fell over. Then I tried to cross step, which I used to able able to do with no problem whatsoever, and can still do on ice skates, and fell over. Then I tried to skate backwards, which again I can do on ice skates, and fell over.

Then I said fuck it and waited for ski season.

I think so, i proggressed so much at park this year all thanks to blading. My friend who has never skied before yet is amazing at rollerblading started skiing this year and his first day he did a hand rail and spun a fifty foot table. It was rediculous so yes it helps. Mostly in my opinion on balance on rails and such.

listen to this guy

and valos are nice skate, tv2s are my favorites they got right now, but i have old old tv1s, if you have fun doing it go shred!

Will eating healthy make me last longer?

Oh shit wrong thread.

Furrealz though, it might. Probably help with balance. Dno about muscles. Just go out and do it then see what happens.

dont be cock whore, who fucking cares if it will benefit you with skiing? do you expect to go pro? cause if you do i know some peoples dicks you could suck to boost your steeze level, benefit you how in skiing? in your ability to compensate for you minimal knowledge of traditional skiing with you douche bag steezy skiing? in you inabilitiy to actually lay down a carve by just back seating like a lil bitch?

dont doubt your actions, just fucking do them

I've been rollerblading since around 2002, and I must say, it's the most fun sport I participate in (besides skiing) and I'm primarily a rollerblader. You do it for fun, not to help your skiing. Besides, it might help your skiing anyway, I think rollerblading makes you look at obstacles differently, hell, it makes me look at everything differently. Try it again, if you don't like it, don't do it. Blading will become not worth it if you just try and do ski tricks though, I find it funny when skier's post videos of themselves rollerblading, all they do are pretzels and spins on and off or rails. There's a lot more possiblity for foot movement on rolelrblades, use it.

way to jump on the "lets all be a prick to this kid" bandwagon! I remember a cuple threads where you just posted completely unnessecary dickhead comments. do u get picked on all day at school and then come on ns to boost your morale?

heres a site for your kind: suicidehotlines.com

well obviously somebody got their dick stuck in the toaster, so let me redirect you to the top of the thread, where the OP made a dick head comment to another member who was posting something to explain it doesnt matter if it helps you, just do what you like, then OP comes back with some asinine comment which was unnecessary. but im glad to know your gonna stand up for him, but in all honestly this site has come down to kids asking if they should shit in the upstairs bathroom or the downstairs sink, weather they should get Jordan's shoes or some nike 6.0's, weather they should smoke some crack or get a STD, fucking when did common sense and the ability to make your own decisions go out the door?

yeah it will help, especially with front/back balance. dont listen to KIRKCHAPMAN, he hates on rolling in every thread.
