This season I bought Tom Wallisch Pro 2022 skis. I’ve skied about 10 days out on the park and the top sheet seems to have already started chipping. I’m not sure if this is normal as I do fall every now and then but I’m not doing any crazy aggressive skiing or anything. Do you think there’s any way to keep these skis lasting for a few seasons?

Ski top sheets will chip if you fall, clank them together on the lift, ski/land with ur feet together or have ur skis ran over by other skiers constantly. You can dry them out and slap some marine epoxy on the chips. Some people use nail polish but I don’t trust that

If your buying line you can’t expect durable skis, just keep epoxying them every time it chips, but tw pros and honey badgers are probably the worst with that

i get weird little flake things on the protective top part of my v’s so i just put a dab of super glue under it and c-clamp it for an hour or two until it dries
