Me lol, idk why you're seem surprised. I'm 6ft so 183s are about the same height as myself. But because of their softness and early rise I wanted skis that were taller than me.

Core = by the people and for the people. That's my definition, others might disagree. Referring to things as core has become an overused (and therefore not funny) meme where people are just using it as a synonym for cool. Ex "are 183s core?"
