Is 122 in the waist too wide for a 5’11 145 IB male teen

I’ve been looking into buying a pair of candide 5.0 but I think it might be a bitt too wide for me (5’11 and 145 IB) here in Washington/PNW. I had a pair of 2.0 for the last 2 seasons but noticed they were moved around way too much at choppy high speeds and was wondering if 5.0’s would be good for going fast on groomers and PNW pow.
 
I ski the 5.0s in groomers all the time and love them. I ski then in Maine mostly, some VT too :) super fun to carve on groomers and obviously a blast in the pow

I’m 5’10” and 165, I ski the 183
