Irrelevant states

The kentucky derby is whatever.

KFC is meh. The $5 fillup deals they just launched moved them up in my book, but they're no bojangles, or even popeyes.

And yeah, there's some cool stuff there, but it's one of those states I don't really care if I ever go back to.

I can understand that.

Actually this summer was driving across kentucky to mo. Anyway I was hungry but trying to pump out the miles. Was going to stop at the next bojangles. Right after I decided that I crossed the state line before their was an exit and had to get kfc instead. I was not stoked.

Maybe I'm holding a grudge.

The truth is, there are cool things and shitty things in every state for the most part. It just depends on where you go and what you're into.

Im well aware... but thats not the point. For the sake of the argument, which state would you like it to be a part of?

Pretty sure that's exactly the point. He said Maryland is irrelevant, you said it wasn't, using D.C. being a part of Maryland to support your argument. D.C. isn't part of Maryland, therefore you can't use that to argue Maryland's importance.

For the sake of argument I'd say D.C. is it's own district and not part of any state, because that's what it is.

That sucks lol. I'm not a fan of KFC, I was just saying it was from here. And I agree; every state has their ups and downs, some more than others.

Yes. Idaho is irrelevant. Please don't come.

But in all reality Idaho is easily the most underrated state.

-Skiing includes: Sun Valley, Targhee (in Wyoming but only accessible from Idaho), Pebble creek is awesome when it's open lol, and Schweitzer is good as well from what I hear, I've never been tho cause it's too far north. There's so many backcountry skiing here as well around the Sun Valley area in the sawtooths, over by targhee, and the pebble creek backcountry is insane as well.

-We have the salmon river which is amazing for rafting.

-fishing is amazing. So many lakes and rivers. We have the largest amount of rivers in the us with over 3,000 miles

-were part of Yellowstone

-here in Pocatello were 2 hours away from alta, snowbird, PC, Jackson, Sun Valley, Targhee and more

-we have the largest wilderness areas in the lower 48 and 2nd in all of the U.S. (Behind Alaska)

But yeah we're pretty irrelevant

Same

nor have you considering it is a city.

You say obviously, yet you got it wrong.

It is possible to be from Massachusetts but not Boston specifically and still be a bad driver. I know plenty of them.

I agree with you. I'm not trying to get so specific; all I'm saying is that Boston is notorious for bad driving, and clearly Boston isn't a state, but it is a rather influential part of MA and many people from that city bring it to the rest of the state. But that's not to say you have to be from Boston to be a bad MA driver, as you said. I just mentioned Boston off the top of my head since it's so well known to be bad for driving. Didn't think people would get so worked up about it.

Not to be disrespectful here, but this isn't a debate, why jump at the chance to bring attention to an obvious fact just for the sake of doing it? It was an honest misinterpretation. Peace

I agree with you about Delaware...

But are you stupid? Im not even from Maryland and I recognize it as probably one of the most relevant states in the US.

Washing D.C., Baltimore, the Naval Academy? Any of that sound familiar?

Please explain why Maryland is important??? I know during the civil war it played a key role and was a boarder state but that's all I know about Maryland. :)

Not worked up at all, just correcting you. I'm sure it was an honest misinterpretation, hence the reason I pointed it out to you. You're the one who kept going with the argument instead of just correcting yourself. Don't blame that on me.

Solid is probably the most irrelevant state, almost all of the time it just gets dissolved in a liquid, because it has no surface area as a solid.

Seriously what the fuck does Deleware and Maryland even do???

Clearly you are not in the car scene... H2Oi is in Maryland. But other than that once a year they got nothing lol.

no blame. i was just trying to clarify my thoughts, not back any sort of argument. appreciate it though, thanks for letting me know my reasoning wasn't clear.

Irrelevant in what way?

Worst state to drive through hands down is Kansas!

I heard Kansas City was cool though?

I might be driving to Scottsdale (from Ottawa, ON) this winter to visit my brother and was thinking of stopping there along the way.

Gary Indiana sucks but the rest of the state is mediocre. if i go my whole life without going to texas I won't be mad

wyoming because it isn't even a real place

Yellowstone National park is in the North West corner. Might be the only redeeming quality.

I drove down I-80 (southern Wyoming) and I thought that it was literally the butthole of the US. It is literally leaking sulphur and old faithful has a chance of shitting on the entire planet. The south is nothing except dirt. Not dessert, just fucking dirt everywhere.

edit: stopped at a gas station to get some matches. They can't sell matches at gas stations because of the meth problem

Don't forget the Wind River Mtns! I hope the hater stay away and never discover what awesome states lie in the northern rockies

The North East states are irrelevant to me. Like the actual states. It seems like they could get by with 2 or 3 tops for that whole area and instead there's like 12. Stupid.
