Ipods are too expensive what's a good alternative?

the only reason there so popular is because of the brand name

there actually rather shotty

Whatever you do, I suggest you DON'T get a RIO CARBON. I have one, and it's kind of shitty. It works ok I guess, but there's probably better alternatives out there.
