IPOD TOUCH sweet things to download are?

Just bought an iPod of a friend and I’m looking for the best apps and shit to download for it. I’m down to jailbreak it but want to know the best way to do that. I'm looking for 100% free downloads with this but still want fun games, anyone suggest the best games you have played and how to get them or applications that are must haves?

Off for a 10hour bus trip and want a solid means of amusement during my journey so serious answers would be SICK!

 
Whatever you do, get touchgrind. you can get it for free if you jail break it or just get it from a friend who bought it.

then just go on itunes and download all the 2 dollar ski films.

as for apps get google earth, FB, tap tap, jelly car, urban spoon, and the dog whistle.

(the dog whistle is really fun to mess with people. its like the mosquito ringtone)
 
assuming you got the 2G ipod touch the jailbreak is going to be a bit harder than the 1G. google a program called quick freedom and that will help you out with all of the steps. if you have a windows xp computer do it on that before trying it on Vista. Make sure you have libusb installed, which it probably says in quick freedom. Then after that you can get mad themes and a gameboy emulator which is legit. touchgrind is the best app hands down
 
CatchaMouse is so fun! It gets pretty frusterating though. Bounce on is ok and Falling Balls is a killer.
