Ipod touch error codes 40 and 1611

please help my ipod crashed and i keep getting these errors im leaving on a vacation tmrw and i find it uncomfortable to have to sit in a car for three hours with out dubstep pounding into my brain
 
I haven't heard of Error codes unless it's jail broken. You might have to re-break it.

Try holding the home+sleep button till it restarts.
 
this, works like a charm. it has to do with resetting the cpu or something idk, but it works.
 
Having worked tech support on the phone for iPods, I have no faith in this article, but it's worth a shot to try some of the steps, both the generic ones and the ones specific to the error codes. 40 may have something to do with security software on your computer, or combined with 1611 may POSSIBLY indicate a hardware problem. Like I said, run through the steps and see if it gets resolved or not.

try and find the most powerful magnet you can get your hands on, the more powerful and big the magnet is the quicker it resets the cpu
