im getting one for skiing! dude, 12 hours of life(the WHOLE DAY OF SKIING), mad small, light, very very durable my friend has one, i guarentee it wont break and even if it does they are like 75 bucks, buy a new one
They are a LOT better for skiing than any other ipod, except maybe nano's, but they use flash memory (no moving parts) as opposed to an actual hard drive thats in a normal ipod, so they perform muhc much better in the cold weather, plus if you break your shuffle on the slopes your only like 75 bucks in the shitter but if you break your new video there goes 3 hundo
