I washed my ipod and it is pretty fucked up. rice and silica beads didn't work. the good news is i have insurance for shit like that if it happens. Bad news, I opened it up and kinda took it apart to try to separate the battery before i realized i had the insurance
Is there any special way they can tell if i cracked it open. I dont want to void insurance by having them find out i cracked it open. do you think they will have anyway to tell.
 
well why dont you tell them it must have come open in the wash, and you prolly turned it on after you washed it frying the battery, most likely try your luck
 
Ya. He dropped the iPod off of a 2nd story balcony. It was raining the day before and since the concrete below the balcony was a little caved-in, there was a puddle there as a result of the water not being able to run-off into the local sewer system.
