Ipod help

My ipod will not respond to anything beign pluged into the bottom, charge, or update. Whne i plug it into my usb a message comes up that says this usb device has exceeded the power limits of its hub port. I have tried every different usb plug.

This happen to anyone and how do i fix it
 
did u hold it down long enough, try holding for a while, cause thats the only way to reset ur ipod, and if it doesnt just let it die and then plug it in and it will work again.
 
ive held it down mad long and no response. problem is i cant plug it into the wall cuz it just doesnt respond to the charger
 
ya try taking out all the other shit from the usb ports, or you can fix your problem by buying my ipod ;) (sig)
 
yeah hold down menu and select... but before you do that you have to turn on the hold, and then turn it off and then push and hold menu/select. in simple terms:

1. turn your ipod's hold on

2. turn the hold off

3. push down and hold menu and select

this resets the ipod and might make your problem go away
