Ipod help!

ya. call them up. if you have a applecare plan, it will be free. if not and it is within a year of when you got it, it will be like $30 (what I just did for mine). and if it is more then a year and you dont have applecare, you may be able to pay them to fix it but it will be just about as expensive as a new one.

I had the same problem. First see if it is still under warranty(one year). If it isnt dont bother reading the rest of this. Call the Apple people or the HP dudes depending which one you have. they will make you go through a whole bunch of trouble shooting. if any of it works just lie to them because a new ipod is better than the piece of shit you have. I just got my new one about three days ago and it is alot better than my old one. The reason it does that is because you have a non highspeed USP hub. SO the computer sends the information at a low speed. the ipod is a high speed hard drive thus screwing it up. baciacly you ipod does not read your music.
