ipod for windows

im using itunes for windows to put shit on my ipod. is there any way so i can add the songs manualy so it doesnt automatically update my ipod every time i plug it in?

when you have the ipod plugged into your comp, open up the prefs for it in itunes and you can change it there

Yeah, but remember, if you are going to put them on the iPod and then take them off your computer, but later on you want them back on your computer, you can't just copy them from iPod to computer. I did that and it was very dumb.
