Ipod Battery Problems

Alright, I dont have a problem with my Ipod Battery, but I do have an assignmnet where I must report a technical problem and provide possible solutions. SO now this is where i need your help. If you have ever had a problem with your Ipod battery, it doesnt matter what Model of the Ipod I would like you to tell your story of what was wrong and how apple/you fixed it, if you were able to fix it. Also I see you can buy replacements for the battery at Best Buy/Future shop and such, has anyone ever tired that and if so how did it go?? Thanks

you can overcharge them and then the battery will die really fast thats prettyy much it and ipods allwys frezze up

my batterys fucked up right now, like Ill charge it till its full, then Ill take it out, the meter will say its full, and then the message will come up that says low battery warning. then when i turn it back on the meter is at zero. I have a mini, and I think Im gonna go down to the apple store today to see if I can get a new battery or something. Does anyone know how much this costs. Ive also heard that if you mail in a shitty mini they will send you a nano. Is this true?
