Ipod batteries

the other day i found out that the ipod batteries only last about a year. It would have helped if i knew that before I bought myne! I dont like apple!

you know you can get the batteries of ebay and change it your self for cheap right?

i've had mine for 3 years and it still works ok.

i have an original ipod, a 3gen and the newest one, all work fine, i just replaced the 3 gen because the battery started to go, but besides that i have had no problems

Is it easy to replace the battery yourself?

yeah its really easy, just be prepared, if you get an extremely large battery i got a 1100 mAh for my 20gb 3 gen, to have to cut out an area of the padding for the hard drive
