Iphoto question/help.

So I took some pretty sick looking shots on my cam tonight....i went to plug the sd card into my macbook pro and it wont show up in iphoto or on my desktop.
So my question is how do I get it to show up on my computer?

thats what i usually do....but for some reason its not showing up any where....i just checked the port and its all clean.
 
and that sounded really really douchy and I'm sorry. Just saying a quick google search is probably a little more reliable and quick then asking NSG. Media and Arts wouldn't have been a bad choice either.

 
used it for about a year with this computer...ill just grab my external reader in the morning
