Iphone users and 3.1

I just downloaded 3.1 and the mms update, and when I restarted my phone, NO SERVICE. tried restoring, didn't work, reset network settings, didn't work. its never been unlocked or anything, so wtf? I'm guessing nomansteven or another mac expert has an answer for me?
 
at&t is shitty a massively awesome brick today, guess they werent expecting everyone to want mms asap. fucking hate at&t
