IPhone or Android?

the most succinct way to put it, based off all the info ive heard, is:

android if youre more techy and like to manipulate your phone for your own style.

iphone if you just want a reliable, easy to use, and most importantly intuitive, phone.

iphone if you want simplicity, seamless integration, a huge app selection and very good reliability, but at the cost of some performance and customization

android if you want lots of customizability, usually better performance, and a large selection of devices, but at the cost of a smaller app market and a lot of bugs with updates/new apps

Get a nice high new high end android phone like the Droid DNA, Note 2, or Experia Z (when it comes out). Mess around with it for a while, and when ubuntu phone is released, install that shit.

Ubuntu phone looks laggy in those ces videos. And there will be almost no apps for it? Unless it can use google play and run android apps I see no use for it, at least for a couple years. I'm still gonna try it on my s3 tho.

Op get a note 2 or droid dna. If you like smaller, nexus 4.

it's not that amazing, the screen's nicer than my galaxy nexus and the speaker's louder, so i just use it as an ipod. everything else is really average. plus it's "old" now.

cause it's shit and slows down after the the third or fourth app you install.. most androids are just garbage.

perhaps the first to third generation but you got to remember the iphone was equally as shitty up until the iphone 4.

the iphone 5 is a huge improvement over the original iphone and the same goes with the android platform

anecdoctal evidence alert***

I support a fleet of iPads and a half dozen iPhones, but have an android phone for business...I just do not see significant differences between the two platforms any more. I do see significant bias from users on either side.

Go iPhone. So easy to use and reliable. And if you get a Mac laptop you can hook them up through iCloud and iMessage which I really like. I have the 4s and I would say upgrading to the 5 probably isn't worth it depending on how much extra it's going to cost you. My friend has the 5 but it is only slightly better.

basically as said before by most people, depends on how technical you want to get with it. I have an iphone (3gs) so yes its old, but theyre just really simple and reliable. My friend has a motorola and really customizes it down to the every little thing so its really his phone, and hes the only one who knows his way around it. I like the droid platform for that reason. I will be getting a droid when I move to the united states

If you get an iPhone, be sure to get a case for it, same with Samsung phones. One drop and they seem to shatter. Droids are a little more durable. The Droid Razr has Gorilla Glass, so that's a nice feature. I've dropped my Original Droid a million times and it still works fine. I'd go with an Droid, because I've never had a bad experience with them. Although, I do like the snappiness of iPhones and the ease of use.

I just switched from the 4s to the samsung galaxy s3, never been happier in my life. Android is by far a way faster and more technical system that Apples over priced shit.

Don't do it, ive had two droids, they lag, freeze all the time, log out of your applications without notice for no reason, closes youre browsing screens in the middle of use, mines new thing is when it gets cold the only way to end a phone is to take the battery out, it sends texts to the wrong people, the keyboard freezes...etc, as tempting as some of the new droids look, i know in two months id want to take a shotgun to the Dick with regret
