IPhone music 128 kbps AAC

On iTunes there's an option to convert higher bit-rate songs to 128 kbps AAC. Does that decrease the quality by a lot? I have some pretty god headphones and I don't want to hear the different while I'm listening on my iPhone

yes, 128 is SIGNIFICANTLY worse than 320. You will hear the difference.
