IPhone Gurus Wanted: Need help with iPhone 4!

So my sleep/power button is fucked and does not work one bit and my phone is now stuck in recovery mode and says I need to restore it

Problem is, it needs to be in DFU and to enter DFU mode, you need a power/sleep button.

Help please!

im pretty sure you can use some jailbreaking softwares to put your iphone into dfu mode. maybe other i-softwares too. google it.
 
1. plug in iphone to computer2.back up iPhone

3. once backed up, unplug iPhone.

4. raise iPhone very high in hand.

5. force your arm in a downward motion.

6. release iPhone at bottom of swing

7. Profit?????
 
Trust me, I have and they almost all require downloading an app from the app store that I can't get to in recovery mode.

I feel naked without my music/phone :(
 
Somehow get it so it's off.

Hold home button for ~5 sec,plug in cable without releasing home button.

Keep holding til iTunes comes up.

Restore to a normal software (I'm assuming your're jailbroken)

 
Not jailbroken and if I'm not mistaken, holding down home only does the arrow thing that says 'connect to itunes' which is recovery mode

I get error 21 on itunes and it means it's not in DFU

And the only screen that shows up on my phone is the chord saying connect to itunes so I can't use the assistive touch bubble shit
