IPhone Case?

Anyone have any suggestions? Just ordered myself an iPhone, and I want a case that protects the screen and the back, but what are some good ones? Preferably not leather.

Thanks

my friend bought one of the silicon cases that cover only the back and it works well because it grips onto everything~ a simple screen protector should do the trick for the front to, but you have to replace them because they get all bubbly

no shit sherlock. Its not like I didn't do that, But everyone likes to argue on that website. There will be 30 reviews for one of them, and half will say "Amazing, I want to blow my load all over this product" and the other ones will say "God, this sucks major dick". I was really just looking for an opinion

ok no joke this is the only case i would ever buy for any screen now. www.zagg.com check it out. have it on my itouch. spend the money and get the front and back protector and take your time and follow the instructions applying. the stuff is used on helicopter roters to keep the from scratching and chipping. lifetime warrenty. ive had mine on for a year and a half and its in perfect condition. my ipod can sell as close to new because its in super condition. trust me this stuff is the only thing i can see working for an itouch/iphone. if your worried about dropping protection get some kind of silicon case but get atleast the front of the invisible shield.

i have a white Incase case for it and it's great... i dropped my first iPhone on pavement and the screen EXPLODED. it's $300 to replace iPhones, but the dude at the store hooked it up for FREE, so i'm now an iPhone-only guy. that said, the only reason the screen shattered was because of how the phone compressed on impact- the screen really is badass and a thin plastic film isn't going to actually do more than protect against things that wouldn't scratch it anyway (this coming from the Apple tech who hooked me up). i mean, do what you want- it's your phone- but it's almost completely unnecessary. i WOULD NOT recommend a soft case of ANY kind... seriously, they don't do anything beyond protecting against scratches. get a hard case that protects the back and sides and you'll be fine. since getting my case, i've dropped it a few times and there isn't even a scratch on the damn case.

What type of material is that? Because it looks like rubber, and the only thing I am wondering is if it will slide into a pocket easily or if the rubber will just grip and cause a hastle?

it's hard plastic. rubber cases SUCK DICK. want to drop your iPhone every time you try to put it in your pocket because it won't slide into your pocket? get a rubber case! want one that will actually protect your phone? get a hard plastic case!

INVISIBLE SHIELD. there is nothing else. BUT MAKE SURE YOU BE EXTRA CAREFUL PUTTING IT ON, YOU ONLY GET 1 SHOT DO NOT MISS YOUR CHANCE TO BLOW THIS OPPORTUNITY COMES ONCE EVERYTIME YOU HAVE $20

or you can just not waste $20 and follow my advise. trust me, that stupid invisible shield won't do SHIT if you drop it from 5~6' up onto concrete.

well what i was wondering was what model of the incase one did you get? because the slider one looks legit, and I am just assuming that is the hard plastic one you are talking about

I love my rubber case. It's way nicer. You also fail to realize that the rubber will prevent it from slipping out of your pocket while you are drunk/high, or somewhere where your phone could potentially slip out of your pocket. And if you put it on a non-flat surface it generally sticks and doesn't fall off. It also has a better grip that doesn't slip around.
Rubber case ftw.
I have heard rumors about the rubber interfering with service, I might have had it happen once but it was only when I had 2 or less bars and was not on the 3g network (don't get 3g at my house).

considering the Apple tech told me AS SOON AS I SELECTED A HARD PLASTIC CASE that he wouldn't have replaced mine for free if i had gone with a rubber case, Apple, you know- the folks who make the damn thing- clearly takes the flimsy rubber cases about as seriously as we take shit here in NSG.
if you actually want to protect your $400 investment, get a hard case. don't be a RETARD and follow the advise i quoted.

seriously get the invisible shield for the front screen. and get a hard case for the back and to help protect from falls. the 40$ you spend on a case will last forever.

+KARMA to crazy, ahah i too broke my iphone from falling on it. I dont know yet if i get a free replacement but im deffeintly buying a incase slider case now. Thanks

find the raddest guy in the store and talk up Apple like a mofo... i happen to have a huge boner for Apple and rad dudes, so it came naturally to me, but just DON'T get pissy or anything with them. be Apple's friend and Apple will be your friend.
