I search barred for a actual thread on those who have received theirs and i didn't find anything. I got mine last week, and its fucking incredible. I previously owned a Galaxy nexus, and this really blows it out of the water. After serious toying and what not with the Galaxy i still did not receive anywhere near as good of results (rooted & unrooted).

Pros:

Very fast

User friendly

Good antenna

Battery life

Screen quality

Weight

Skinny (Fits in my tight little teenager pants)

Music Play is much faster/more user friendly than google music

Charges incredibly fast

Speaker

Siri s actually kinda cool to use when my hands are dirty

Incredible Camera fora phone

Looks nice

+5 doucheness

Cons:

Most apps have not been updated to fit the screen

No battery conservation apps, but its not really necessary

Unique charging port

not as much customization

 
my wifi connection is sketchy but besides that it great, i upgraded from a flip phone so no complaints

 
I got my 5 a week ago and I'm loving it, big improvement over my 4s which had a shitty battery no matter how many restores and Apple store visit

also the switch from Sprint -> Verizon is very nice since LTE is coming to Durham, NH soon
 
the fucking new jack pisses me off like none other. i went from 30 chargers/car plugs/speakers to 1.

otherwise its dope!!
 
For the first week mine would randomly drop the connection and I'd have to restart it to get a signal. Did a network reset and it hasn't dropped me yet (fingers crossed).

I had an atrix before, I do miss the fingerprint sensor and ability to pirate movies/shows

never connects to my wifi... always have to manually do it. shits lame. plus it disconnects from it allllll the fucking time.
 
same router worked with my 4s... so I buy an iPhone 5 and my router decides to become a piece of shit.. i doubt it!
 
Duhh, but on android you can get a bittorent app and download shit directly to your phone. So if I don't have my laptop but do have wifi I can download and watch movies on my phone for free.
 
Lol. I like the Android interface better. I don't know. If I could have a new iphone I would.
 
I love mine, but took it skiing over the weekend and it was kinda cold, maybe 15 or 20, the battery died in about 2 hours while listening to music. When I took it out of my pocket the back felt frozen. I don't have a case yet because I am waiting for life proof case to come out. Other than hat no complaints, hopefully a case helps it stay warmer

My wifi connection is kinda fucked and wont stay connected while watching a video but other than that its great. And for the batterey conversion you can turn it on in settings. (Second page :) ?)
 
Same, i upgraded from a 7 year old flip phone. The only thing I miss is being able to fling my phone around without worrying if it breaks.
 
I would rather take something that came out from before droids than a droid that would literally not work half of the time. No need to be an ass
 
i like everything about the iphone 5

ive been noticing that its pretty slow on wifi

it could just be at my house though

is anyone else having trouble with that?
 
only downfall in my mind is that most apps don't fit the enlarged screen, should take a while for all the apps to update that
 
Had mine for a month now, pretty much the same as my 4. Batterey sucks. Always loses service. Whatever I got mad swag tho. Jk
 
I actually lost the cord for a couple of days, luckily I was able to make the battery last that long. I was about to buy a new one when I found it
 
This is whati thought of when out first came out. The enlarged screen is nice but will only be partially useful ffor a while after you get it
