Iowa Caucus

yes these are important issues that should be looked at. however, 1. a caucus isnt an official election. the main purpose of any caucus is to see what the general trend is. it may help to think of a caucus as more of a poll than an election. 2. this year's turnout was huge. this election is going to make or break america and more people realize that. also people look at how iowa is like 97% white and lack much diversity. this is true and the numbers certainly do reflect that but obama won. voter turnout for the democrats was way more than the republicans.
 
very arrogant. I think some of you should work on a real farm for a couple months and realize its not just bum fuck farm people herding animals.
 
Hahaha, well I promise it won't be Kucinich. Keep in mind if something ever happened to Barack, that would leave a crazy person in control of the country, and no one wants that. I could see Hillary doing it on the grounds of her experience but she might have shot herself in the foot by going negative on Obama a few times in the past month and a half. I would aim for someone like Bill Richardson or Chris Dodd. What Chris Dodd did with his recent filibuster showed his unwavering integrity in public service and he'd make a great vice president, or even a great president, despite the fact that he's a relative unknown and has been the whole time. He certainly has the experience.

Anyone else think there's an outside chance for Al Gore?
 
I believe they were talking about VP nominations. And on that note, I think that Dodd would be an excellent idea for obama. He needs to find someone that will also not scare away the droves of independents that are currently on his side. That is why there isnt a chance in hell that kucinich (sp?) would ever be a viable option. In the spirit of crazy matchups with obama, IF he wasnt already supporting mccain, what if Leiberman made another VP appearance? I know that it would never happen since lieberman agrees with Hannity way too much to be normal, but it would be an interesting choice seeing as Obama is really going for the uniter brand.
 
as long as its obama/somebody instead of hillary/somebody then ill be happy. but seriously obama/kucinich would be awesome.

He will probably invite Ron Paul to get on board but don't think he'll want to.
