anyone else get iOS 6 today? kinda stoked that siri does better stuff and that the maps thing is somewhat useful as a gps...anyone got an opinion on it?

Seriously man, no one who owns an iPhone gives a flying fuck about Android. IOS is simple and intuitive and I have an iPod and a small, sleek phone in one, not so shitty music player in a bulky mess of a phone that feels like a book in my pocket. That's seriously all most non-troglodytes care about. I could give a rats ass about any of the other bullshit I could do with "open source software" and "more powerful phones". It's a phone, not a computer.
 
Again, my post was mostly mocking the amount of argument there has been over iphones recently, which I have been apart of. Everyone you just said I feel about my galaxy nexus. I use google music, i never have to upload music to my phone, it automatically syncs with my music folders. the OS is simple and intuitive and my phone is sleek and fits well in my pocket. Its all opinion. I'm trying to throw water on the fire right now, not stoke it.
 
so I'm not the only one...not understanding why my wifi won't work but as for iOS 6 it is pretty cool, nice updates most of which I will actually use, and it's simple, which is why I love it

Actually, I agree with this. No matter how much I dislike a lot of your posts, this one is one of the better ones. you're 1/10 now.
 
y do you care so much? youre like the guy who has to make sure everyone knows he's not gay when the slightest hint of it is mentioned. just live your life and let iphone users live theirs.

And on IOS6 is cool, when someone is calling you can select 1 of 4 messagese to send them in response, instead of answering when youre in class or something.

And the Do Not Disturb function is sweet, i wont have to turn off my iphone at night anymore!
 
Just shut up you have no idea what you're talking about. If you've ever actually held a galaxy nexus you would realize it fits in a pocket very comfortably. There are many alternative music players for android like poweramp which give way better sound than any ipod/iphone ever would. The worst thing about android is the lack of desktop client like itunes. I own an ipod touch 4th gen and i have to say jelly bean is way better than any ios version. But this thread should stay shitstorm free. The new update isn't very impressive, the new maps is nice and so is the app store stuff but it seems like a minor update.

And ANDROID HAS HAD BOTH OF THOSE FEATURES FOR LIKE 3 FUCKING YEARS.

if anyone is having troubles connecting to wifi. go Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network settings and than it should work. Or change the last Number in your DNS. I found both on the apple forum and both ways work.

I never set up a "cloud account" before, it's saying I need to set one up and I'm changing my email in the process but it's not working

It's like why would you even click on this thread if all you were planning on doing is talking shit. If someone makes a new thread about the new fucking candy Android is releasing I am prob not going to click on it, let alone go in there and start a debate for fun. i believe they removed the youtube app all together and are no longer partnered with them . i might be wrong very wrong though.

Apple removed Youtube like the did Google Maps, just download the official Youtube app in the Appstore

I don't know why people hate Apple Maps, I think its great and works really well with Siri

and Eheath no one cares you think your little Galaxy Nexus is the shit, you have to announce in every thread that you own it and think its superior and its getting annoying. Android sucks.
 
Neither Android nor IOS suck, anyone who says they do are just being ignorant. It is a matter of opinion, because not everyone likes the same things. eheath likes his samsung, other like their iPhones.

I don't see you calling out the people who are bashing android in all of these cell phone arguments.
 
Downloading it now, for my awesome iphone 3gs!! When I move to the states in about a year I'll pick up either the newest iphone or newest galaxy, will probably make a thread to hear opinions at that time.

Back to IOS6, looking forward to the update, even though I can't use Siri or Facetime, but hey I got the phone for free, cant complain.
