Invaders as an all mountain ski.

i just wanted to say invaders are fuckin FUN on groomers!

ive been skiing mine cause our snow is shit for tits right now, and i love em.

i think its because theyre symmetrical, but they rip on medium-sogt snow.

just sayin

couldnt agree more. i was super sketch coming into this season on anthems coming off of back mounted p.e.s and id say the anthems are way better in and out of the park. they seriously hold a solid edge when im bombing shit and im super stoked on em. my friend has vaders and agrees they both are killer all mountain skis

my friends invaders which he used for one season only are now rockered haha. Just got some afterbangs (bandwagon!) and love them! so much better than my ghettos im pumped to have a centermount.

I'm using a pair of centermounted 178 invaders this season(also for ski team) and I have no trouble with them at all

My Invaders go all-mountain. I actually really like how symmetrical skis perform on groomers, they might not be as fast or as stable as other "traditional" skis, but damn are they fun.

Compared to what, a cap construction foamed cored 148 jr ski? I just hated every aspect of Anthems so much, and Invaders almost that badly too. I tried all kinds of carving with them and they just sucked for me(meaning I can use them, just like I could most other skis anything similar to them, but they weren't fun skis and didn't perform). Chronics mounted at -6 carve well(beause that is where they are made to be mounted from the flex) but mounted up don't carve well.

All that's in comparison to even other park skis, like Pipe Cleaners, TNKs, and Extremes. I would rather ski my 202 138 underfoot reverse sidecut pow skis in park then Invaders(other than the nice aspect of putting core shots in Invaders doesn't matter AT ALL, but I have $100 Watch Lifes for that this season, which are also much better than Invaders).

I'll shut up now.
