sounds like a dumb post but im just curious...im a big guy and weight 225 and buyin 05 invaders....im just wonderin if theylle hold up for me?? im gettin the 178s just like workied about to much flex cuz of my wieght and them snapping..and even if they did would they warrienty them?? let me know thanx..justin
 
aight..so do u think they be worth gettin for 95 shipped new...lol thats why i want em..that and the graphics r sick and the butterzones...but idk...other choice is the chronic golds..
 
how would the 04-05 arada arv hold up for me? would they be soft for me and easy to do butters and shit..but be stable...let me know either that or the line chronic gold...?
 
ya def a sick deal..hmm idk...they prob will hold up fine..who knows..would it feel more like a snowbaord bein flexy and the sidecut..id be ok..what u guys think>
 
well I'm about 15 heavier than you and the chronics would be an ideal ski, if you want a stable ride. Even at my weight, buttering the chronics is a feat. Possible, but difficult. If you're looking for a soft ski, i'd go with the ARVs. Had the anthem come out, I would have gone with those. In fact, that will be my park ski for next year.
 
They're pretty small for you, but at that price I'd find a friend who needs skis and hook him/her up.
 
anyone else got somthin to add? im gettin both and tryin each out..then sellin other i dont pic to my cuz..i dont know..i wanna rock the gold chronics i think..but the snowbaord like sidecut and flex get me on the invaders...lol..hmm i mean snowboards r super flexy and like that so idk might be used to ridin it..and they would be only flexy in tip and tail not middle so i dont see how it be unstable for me..let me know your thought..im tryin both..but like to hear what peeps say..
 
why do u post in here your not helpin..and i want lines..so im gettin em..plus I was gonna get armada but the ones I wanted sold..so im gettin the lines..
 
im 6'4" and 160 lbs and i ride invaders and they are pretty damn soft. i probably wouldnt want to ride them if i was 225. if you land backseat at all youll flex them a shit load, i think they may be too soft for you. invaders are crazy soft. but, if you can get htem for 95 shipped id just buy them and sell them
 
I would suggest a stiffer ski. You will be washing around everywhere on the Invader. Bigger dudes need burlier boards. I would suggest 182 Addicts or 177 Chronics, both stiff park skis. They will give you the stability and beef you need to rip it up.
 
yea i just got in my 177 gold line chronics...so sick!!..they def can hold up for me and have plenty of flex and the ollieband is sick...works good...made sick skis..But I got em mounted and they fucked it up...g shoulda saw it comin..lol...its mounted at suggeted mount thats on the skis...Its not bad but I wanna try and ride true center...so they will remount for free...fuckers...lol..what u think..true center or 1 cm back from true?
