Invaders 171 or 178?

Could somebody who rides the 178 help me out. I'm 6'1'' but only 155lbs. and a rookie in the park, riding 50/50 park allmtn in the east. The 178 look kinda intimidating to me, as I only have one season on twin tips under my belt and do not spin particularly well (shorter would be easier to spin around?).

(and yes I have used the searchbar, but am not satisfied with the responses smartasses)
 
im only 5'9'' so i ride line 171 s, but you re 6'1'', so i think you should go 178...plus as you progress you might want a longer ski. My best friend rides anthems 178 and he is 6' tall. It's your call ultimately though.
 
im 5 10 and i ride 177 (not invaders) you should definitly go with 178 because once there centered they look alot shorter
 
178, unless you are a cockmaster 9000.

I'm 5'9 145. pounds and ride 178 Anthems (same as invaders, but wider) and even bigger pow/all mtn. skis and they are fine. Way more stable and easier to stomp bigger stuff with. Get 178's or else satan is gonna come to your house and rape your dog.
 
... well dont want THAT to happen...

but yeah they call me the corkmaster 360 (my spins are so inconsistent that sometimes i wobble off axis and i've heard it kinda looks corked)

its cool though i really look forward to spending more time in the park and progressing
 
you need to get the 178, this is a center mount ski being fully semetrical so you will have no problems

spinning, the 171 just won't give you enough ski for a stable landing
