Now that 'm sure a few of you have skied them this year what are they like. Heavy light, flex patterns really make a difference? Stable on real trails outside of park? Durable? any help

they are designed to be a park ski only,...thats why theya re semmetrical...i would say if u are going to ride as much out of the park as u are in the park, then to get something more like the chronic./....as far as durability goes...im not so sure,,, i havent actually seen in person them break, so i cant really make a judgement on them...but if u rode them and they borke, then line would most likley warrenty them...i might get them next season if there are some still kicking around.

I heard if you take em out of the park they disintegrate. A lot of stories about em coming apart anyways.

i have em

they ski fine out of the park these kids saying OH THEY DELAM LIKE MAD prolly are sitting on the chairlift clanging their skis together. they are waayy better out of the park than the 1080's and some people are going to disagree but the public enemies. just make sure you get the ski a bit long.

thats my 2 cents

You are totally right!

My friend has a pair and we were heading for the park and we changed our minds at the last minute and turned left and skied by the park entrance. It was amazing what happened next.... Two turns later both skis delamed tip to tail! It was like the skis sensed they were not in the park and committed suicide!

Tell all your friends this really did happen. You heard it on NS so it must be true.

In my opinion, the Invaders are a great ski. I just skied them yesterday and they were awesome. I had to take them out of the park for about 6 runs on groomers, and they did just fine. In the park, they are amazing. The only problem is that the topsheet is not very durible. I already have some big nicks, but its only cosmetic

Look. they are good skis. but there is no way they will hold up that well out of the park. thier performance just isnt comparable to other twintips when its out of the park.

First of all, you HAVE to have them centermounted. which is a bitch cuz the center of balence is all janked up. basicly, your skiing no better if your headed straight in powder than you would if you were switch in powder, due to the symmetrical design and the centermountedness they have.

I personally dont like centermount even in the park. I ride rossi scratches, which are a much better all around ski. sort of like the line chronics and k2 public enemys. I have them mounted inbetween centermount and regular. they work flawlessly that way. they kill it outside the park, yet they still own it within the park.

If you are going to stick in the park all the time, get the invaders. otherwise, pick up a pair of Rossi Scratches, K2 Public Enemies or line Chronics.

well no shit, i mean for a park SPECIFIC ski, i mena i dont see why it wouldnt be centermounted, if you got the invaders with the intention of taking them into pow then i am gonna call you a dipshit.

Ive just bought my Line Invaders and ive heard alot about peaople talking about that they are falling apart!!! is this Truth?! IL get realyy pist off if t5hey fall apart the first day!!!!
